Laura is a dynamic and accomplished leader, best known as the founder of Leadby. With over two decades of experience in People Management, Organizational Culture, and Leadership Development, Laura has left an indelible mark on the corporate and non-profit sectors, solidifying her reputation as a trusted coach and strategist in the realm of people leadership.
Laura's journey began with her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with a specialized focus on Human Resource Management, obtained from Fresno State. Armed with this knowledge, she ventured into the world of work, where her passion for people and leadership began to blossom. Her dual experience in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations gives her a unique perspective, allowing her to offer clients a diverse range of insights and solutions.
Laura's most notable achievement, prior to her work with Leadby, was her 11-year tenure at Fresno Chaffee Zoo most recently as Chief People Officer. As a key figure in the organization, she led her team through the formidable challenges and growing pains that come with doubling the physical space and the team. This is a testament to her ability to navigate complexity, inspire teams, and drive successful outcomes.
At the core of Laura's work is her commitment to activating people and building productive cultures. Her expertise in shaping cultures that are inclusive, intentional, and meaningful to all stakeholders has earned her recognition as an industry leader.
